Sunshower is an innovative technology, founded in the Netherlands by engineers Merijn Wegdam and Oscar Meijer. Inspired by the power and benefits of sunlight, the duo developed an entirely new product: sunlight in the shower.

As it helps your body absorb calcium, it has proven essential for developing strong bones, and it is also a key booster for your immune system and general muscle function.

The experts, as well as science, confirm that UV light and infrared light offer a lot of health benefits when used responsibly. For example, infrared relieves muscle pain and helps with pain management, and shortens the daily start-up time for people who suffer from arthritis. UV light is responsible for the production of vitamin D, which increases our resistance and raises our energy level.

Sun shower’s products are developed in collaboration with TNO(Independent Dutch research institute for applied scientific research) and medical specialists from LUMC and VUMC(Academic hospitals and medical faculties of Leiden and Amsterdam).
